
Despite Pit being a flightless angel, he is still a skilled and versatile fighter. He faces many dangers and threats with little hesitation. Like many Nintendo protagonists, Pit is fearless and heroic but also is more chipper among the others. Pit is Palutena's most loyal servant, as well as the captain of her royal bodyguards. However, you get a bunch of EXP from higher intensity. Link and Pit have an easier time defeating enemies from their own world, and will be alerted if one of them needs assistance.Īs the game progresses, you can change the intensity of each level, meaning that the enemies will become tougher and treasures will be harder to find. There are a mix of hordes from both games, from underworld minions to Bokoblins and Moblins.


They may also unlock things like music, missions, and deleted scenes. This includes upgrades, hearts, and more. Treasure chest can be found all around the area, holding items that the character can use. Some sections of the game require you to use one of them to go past an obstacle. Each have their own special way of fighting, Link using a sword and Pit using a bow.

You can play as either Pit or Link through the world of Hyrule starting from the beginning of the game, being able to switch between the two within the levels (excluding special levels). The gameplay is similar too both Hyrule Warriors and Kid Icarus: Uprising. You are able to switch between both Link and Pit from the start of the game (excluding special stages), which gives you a variety of ways to play. The game is a mixture of Hack-and-Slash and Shoot em' Up from the previous Zelda and Kid Icarus games. Pit and Link go on an adventure to save the Goddess of Light and return the medallion before it's too late, and both heavens and earth are plunged into eternal darkness. Pit is left with nothing but a medallion from the goddess as he falls onto the surface of Hyrule, meeting Link and all of the other Hyrule Warriors.

However, in a turn of events, the underworld invades the celebration, kidnapping Palutena and causing the Temple of Light to collapse. After the defeat of Medusa in Kid Icarus: Uprising, Pit prepares to celebrate his 16th birthday in the Temple of Light with Lady Palutena.
